Funny thing is the crash happened while 100% sober. It’s just dumb luck that I didn’t crash while drunk. I drove drunk so often. One of the biggest regrets of my life. I put so many other people at risk. Selfish and stupid. Wish I could say I was just a kid but it went into 30s. No excuses. Same. Luckily I didn't hurt or god forbid kill anyone, for me into my 40's until I finally stopped. |

Car crash. One of those deals where you look at mangled wreck after and wonder how anyone survived. Funny thing is the crash happened while 100% sober. It’s just dumb luck that I didn’t crash while drunk. I drove drunk so often. One of the biggest regrets of my life. I put so many other people at risk. Selfish and stupid. Wish I could say I was just a kid but it went into 30s. No excuses. I drove drunk in college a lot.. had to cover one eye to not see double. SO FUCKED.... we were young and stupid. |

Not me... but good friend was on the American Flight that landed in the Hudson. It was to arrive in Charlotte so most of the people were Charlotteans.
He tells the story.... well, you crap your pants first time you hear it. Imagine being on a flight and you hear.. Brace for a river landing.

This ..oof, It's a miracle we stayed alive (either driving or getting in a car with a dude as drunk as you). Once i was on my motorcycle and some friends were following me by car. I was absolutely hammered. After a bit I didn't see them in the rear view anymore and said fuck it. Next day I asked them wtf they did. They said we came to an intersection, the light was red and I just went straight through it. This makes me cringe when I think of my kids. After a night at the bars, driving me and a buddy to a friends house to keep the party going. Cruising down the highway and off the exit ramp, didn’t slow down until too late, spun the car and missed smacking broadside in to a jersey barrier by about a foot. Next day I asked my buddy what we did at my friends house. He said we didn’t make it. After I spun the car, I mumbled something and drove home. Don’t remember any of that. |

Coming home from a long weekend, long drive and about 10 miles from home. Two lane highway going uphill. Passing a large RV on the left. I’m just at his rear wheels when BANG the dude has a blowout. RV instantly tracks left heading to smash me right off the highway. I hit the brakes and veer left and RV guy veers in to my lane but manages control enough to just miss my front bumper by about 6 inches at 60mph.
