Appreciate the insight everyone. I do have a trezor, so no worries there. I was saying credentials cause I get lost in the crypto terminogy at times. It seemed like I needed to give gpool my wallet info and then they would be able to access my address on the blockchain?  I can't keep track of what this shit means. You should see me trying to explain it to my 75 year old father. He bought some bitcoin through PayPal though, so he's happy now. |

I've been lurking for a while and jumped into Theta back in October, when it was around $0.72. I'm obviously thankful for the non-financial advice that was provided. I of course didn't tell my wife that I heard about this shit from a Jets site with only 5 active posters until the tokens jumped 10 fold. Now she just looks at me like some sort of idiot, but with a little less derision. That being said, I'm south of 10,000 tokens and have been avoiding the staking process because of some security concerns I have. Trying to find more info about this online is like looking for Ragu's podcast. Since you all seem to be knuckle deep in staking, I figured I would ask here. Looked like you all were using G Pool? If your less than 10,000 tokens don't you have to share your credentials? Seems like things are more secure if you do your own guardian node, but there ain't no way I'm getting to 10,000 tokens at this point. Any thoughts are appreciated. Common. Welcome, Schakins! He bought some bitcoin through PayPal though, so he's happy now. all gpool would know is your public address, which you need to give to anyone you're transacting with your private keys are what's important to protect, and that's what your trezor does |

theta and tfuel both consolidating/coiling for like a month. lots of things happening within the next couple of months. next leg up is going to be pretty hair raising. blew through $13 and $14 overnight. hanging in the $15s this is before mainnet 3.0, before nft market launch, before mktg campaign, before next validator/partner reveal still early |

i expect it to pump into the high teens then retrace & consolidate again around 15 bucks for awhile, if the last year's pattern continues. but who the fuck knows... the market is fucking nuts. doge topping 30 cents is lunacy, uncharted territory here with all the new money coming into everything |

thinking about jumping in, buddy said Cardano? what do you guys thnk? i've had it but sold it. some cryptonerds i follow really like it, but i just wasn't feeling it. the fact that cardano (ada) still doesn't have smart contracts is kinda ridiculous imo. seems to be targeting africa and there's a lot of room to grow there if it gets built into the still-to-be-built infrastructure in a lot of countries, but right now all the hype seems to be coming from just the one guy who built it (hoskinson). staking rewards aren't that great, i plowed my ada money into zil, whose staking rewards are fucking insane ps digital dave is bullish on it, and if you had followed that guy's advice since last year you'd be fucking rich a few times over. so consider that too. if you're getting into cryptos check him out on his youtube channel, crazy4cryptos. guy is top notch. that being said, most of the crypto youtubers are paid shills, idiots or trend-following hypesters just looking for click$, so take new stuff with a grain of salt |

Went to bed last night and woke up almost 20k up this morning. Looks like a ton of support around that $14 mark, at least through today. Zil also at another all time high right about now....cracked .24 today. |

just fyi to anyone looking to dip their toe... you can earn tfuel by becoming an edge node. got an old computer or laptop laying around? go to thetatoken.org, create a free wallet, then download the edge node app to that laptop or computer.
run the edge node 24/7 on that unused computer, point it to your theta wallet, and earn tfuel for the edge computing, video transcoding, edge caching etc. all using your spare computer's CPU/GPU. earn free tfuel... i started buying/earning it at less than a penny, it's like 37 cents right now, some speculate it could go up to 10 bucks. once you set it up you literally have to do NOTHING. just leave the computer on
easy simple way to get started in cryptos without having to set up a coinbase account or give your personal info to anyone.

You could put a few+ grand into it and if the price rises slightly it will be like getting a pension. yeah zil rewards are fucking insane and zil pumped to ath of 25 cents tonight dgb pumping too wanna remind everyone to take profits when it makes sense... but also keep in mind that if you hold it for a year and 1 day, your capital gains tax goes down (from short-term cap gains to long-term cap gains) need this bull alt season to last another 7-8 months then it might be time to skim a bit and do some bucket list shit |
