a few bits for the hampurites that bought theta, to help maximize your investment
- hopefully you are staking your theta (1k minimum needed) to be earning tfuel. it's easy to do with gpool, and you still control your private keys, theta is still in your wallet
- hopefully you have downloaded and are running a pre-elite edge node to earn tfuel. you can download it for free at thetatoken.org. i don't recommend doing it on a computer you use for other things; i use an old macbook pro dedicated to it... an old gaming computer works great as well. kickass CPU/GPU will let you run it on a higher setting for higher earnings. you earn tfuel for running edge compute/transcoding jobs, you do nothing your computer does it all. right now tfuel rewards are minimal but that is all going to change on june 30 when mainnet 3.0 launches. payouts jump hugely
- also on your pre-elite edge node (which is a beta, it will become elite edge node with mainnet 3.0 launch), you can stake your tfuel to earn more tfuel. 10k minimum, 500k maximum, simple one-click staking process (no gpool involved). again, right now staking rewards are not great but will jump significantly on june 30 with the mainnet 3.0 launch. this is passive income and can be quite a significant chunk of change per month. tfuel at 35 cents right now is a gift
