No. Retreads aren't worth it. Billy Martin was the manager of the Yankees on five separate occasions. He won the world series once. Fuck Rex. Nobody said we had to keep Rex. It just said to get rid of Gase. I think 99% of this board would do damn near anything that wasnt gay to get rid of Gase. I could be high on my estimate however. |

rex had many faults but i sometimes wonder if the biggest one was managing his own ego while a front office was constantly playing win-now and never build for later. i don't hate the way mike t built the team, but eventually he drank his own kool aid. idzik killed any hope we had of normalcy and consistency
