I remember trying to figure out if she was hot. I dint spend much time on it, think I concluded no.. but its really the only thing I remember about when she was "Famous".

back like 30 years ago, when me and mrs. shakin were in our early days, we went to a christmas party with my lifelong buddies and their gfs/wives
one of my buddies wives shows up with her present for mrs. shakin; a cd set of helen reddy songs
apparently in one of my hammered soliloquoys i must have come up with the fabrication that mrs. shakin is a helen reddy fan. i'm sure there was a joke in there reason somewhere, but whatever
anyway, mrs. shakin is/was about as familiar/interested in helen reddy as you are right now
but she put on a brave face and was like, "wow, thank you, so thoughtful"
as i suddenly inspected a crack in the ceiling
