Immigrant chinese vs immigrant chinese vs immigrant irish in post civil war San Francisco. Fun storyline with lots of fighting, drinking, and whores. Only 2 seasons though. Good stuff.

You people have no good recommendations. Ozarks was the worst piece of shit I ever watched. The cunt wife was the most unlikeable character ever and fucko whathisname the husband played the same unlikeable dick he’s always played in ever show or movie he was ever in.
Better call Saul is good and so is Allen vs. Farrow. I still like the walking dead even though it’s toward the end. Give us some real good shoes, not inane nonsense.

Better call Saul is good and so is Allen vs. Farrow. I still like the walking dead even though it’s toward the end. Give us some real good shoes, not inane nonsense. Don’t understand the “Ozarks” bullshit either. Jason Bateman is Jason Bateman in every movie he’s ever been in. You’d probably have to go all the way back to Teen Wolf 2 to find a movie where he isn’t the same old “Michael Bluth” character that he’s always been. |

Bateman, like in Arrested Development, plays the straight man to every other character's quirks. He's supposed to be boring to let everyone else shine. |

Clarice has been surprisingly good if you liked Silence of the Lambs. Kind of a serial killer cop drama with a Silence of the Lambs backdrop.

Netflix: Crimescene Vanishing at The Cecil Hotel.
Really had no idea about this shithole hotel on skid Row and its reputation. Not hard to see how the disappearance was going to play out. Had some interesting bits where I'm saying WTF and cringing at outright stupid dangerous processes, policies, and politics.
Coincidentally...right after finishing that show a youtube feed for U2 Where the Streets Have no Name video came up (because fucking google works that way)...the one where they played on a rooftop in LA with the Cecil in the background...back in the 80s.
Watching the video now it occurs to me that Bono comes off as even more of a pretentious douchebag than I remember. Even more than Sting. Dicks.
