Just watched Fort Apache, The Bronx. Not a bad flick. I haven't been through the Bronx in a long, long time. Is it 'the place to live' now? That would be hard to imagine thinking about the last time I saw it.

Just watched Fort Apache, The Bronx. Not a bad flick. I haven't been through the Bronx in a long, long time. Is it 'the place to live' now? That would be hard to imagine thinking about the last time I saw it. All the burned down portions have been rebuilt but I would hardly call it "the place to live". It's the closest thing to the land that time forgot as they have been betrayed by Democratic politicians and D.A.'s for years. The places that were ok (northern b ronx and Throggs Neck area) are still pretty solid but you wont see the gentrification that occured in Manhattan North and Brooklyn North (which is probably being reversed since covid/BLM riots). |
