First time deep frying a turkey. Turkey sucks, but I won't cook it any other way. Sitting in sweatpants enjoying a coffee/chocolate/vanilla stout and warming up for post-dinner dump #2. Yeah, borrowed a fryer from my bro-in-law "because everyone's doing it". What a gi-normous pain in the arse, the turkey got over-cooked, the clean up was a pain in the arse, the oil cost a fortune and the stress of not fucking it up... enormous. Not doing that again. Christmas, prime rib roast...and a ham. Dingus... Ur supposed to use Rotella oil from Walmart in the 5 quart jugs. Cheapest way. Can't tell any difference w oil |
