Williams is accountable but not the HC/offensive moron who currently has the Jets at 0-12? He also could have overruled that last call on D if he knew what the hell he was doing and was in HC of the entire team. But Williams is the scapegoat? This organization has no clue about anything. Most of the fan base is happy Williams blew that last call and hates Gase more than any other person ever associated with this franchise. Dopes need to wake up. |

I'm convinced Williams told someone to fuck off, the more I think about it. It was a bad call, but not out of character for him. There's really no reason to make an example out of him otherwise. Actually, I feel like we've been giving Williams way too much credit. The guy blitzes and plays man coverage. He's about as innovative on defense as Gase is on offense. But as someone else said "don’t blitz on the last play of a game when you’re leading and a touchdown will cost you the game." Here's the records of teams he's coached with, post-bountygate: 0-12 Jets 7-9 Jets 0-16 Browns 7-8-1 Browns 4-12 Rams 6-10 Rams 7-9 Rams 7-9 Titans He led the Browns to 0-16! No wonder he was such a good fit here. Only been done twice and now he can have a hand in a second. 4-d chess! Williams should win Executive of the Year |

Should not be all on him... I saw some of those utterly bogus calls. Jets get royally fucked on roughing while their mediocre at best QBs are getting thrown around like rag dolls getting their ribs broken, arms ripped off, heads knocked off... And almost never flagged. It's a thing and it's crazy. I really think the jets are the designated heel of the league. They were supposed to blow the tank yesterday and thats why GW is gone lol He had pity for the jet fan and likes us bc we respect him for not being a bitch like the rest of the coaching staff usually is.
