I have a real strong gut feeling that this Fields dude is gonna suck! Didn't I hear that he's barely played many games but did pretty good in some bowl game a bunch of guys sat out on? Sounds like Sanchez! What if JD already has his eye on another stop gap type QB that can keep it together while he builds a damn team? What if this big trade rumor involves bringing in another qb he knows at least won't shit all over himself
Where did all this fields hype come from? It screams bust to me just sayin

Yeah, get 'em both out. I've always hoped darnold would figure it out, he's had little or no O line help and is now getting some help from recivers and tight ends but not enough. Time to start over again...........Fuck.

He's been a stud since transferring to OSU and after four games this year he had more TD throws than incompletions.....let that sink in. Then he throws up a stinker of a game when they were missing 20+ players and now he sucks. LOL. Every player throws out shitty games once in awhile because they're not robots, they're human. Brady has shitty games, Brees has shitty games, Ben has shitty games, it happens. He has great size, great mobility, throws a beautiful ball, has arm strength to make every throw, and is accurate. |

And Fields won't have much luck with this team either...and probably get sacked into another Broken QB until the shouts for "Trade him for a 2nd so we can draft the next big thing at QB" occurs again.

You saw how the line deteriorated when Becton had to leave due to injury?
Doesn’t matter Fields will be a Jet by the end of April. Today sealed that.Darnold is done here. Maybe he resurrects his career elsewhere, maybe not. Don’t really care. Because there’s no way that he’s in a Jets uniform next year. None.
We'll see but I think Sewell will be a Jet and our QB will be a FA Stop-Gap QB.

Because they need A QB, #1 WR, #1RB, OL, Pass rusher, DBs, Kicker, coach, stadium, new uniforms, new owner, new city, etc etc etc etc etc. They really stink bad. |

He won't neglect the line because his first pick will be Penei Sewell.
Joe D's past as an O-Lineman cannot be disregarded here.
He knows the domino-effect a Good O-line vs a Bad O-line has on not just the QB position but the Running game.

And FTR Fields is a much better prospect than Sam ever was going all the way back to HS.... it's not even close. Sam was always a turnover machine and that didn't change in the NFL, Fields is exactly the opposite. |

He knows the domino-effect a Good O-line vs a Bad O-line has on not just the QB position but the Running game.
Douglas isn’t taking a LT in the 1st round for the 2nd year in a row and pinning his career on Jameis Winston or Andy Dalton. He’s taking Fields. Fields isn’t flawless, but he’s a legitimate bluechip QB prospect who would go #1 overall in any other draft not featuring Trevor Lawrence. |
