Tucker loves her. She seems to say the right things. Still... What am I missing? I did a breakdown of her policies in another thread. I like her attitude and some of her policies. Her foreign policy is better than domestic. She is definitely way farther left on a lot of things than I would like but I see her as a reasonable person that I could live with as a politician rather than the hateful moronic asses that make up most of our elected democrats right now. She is a principled adult which is sadly what makes her stand out in politics right now. She also doesn't play the PC/identity politics game. She is one of thoseDems who you may disagree with, but who can state her reasons why and you could easily discuss those ideas over a beer and still take her home and bang her brains out rather that hate fuck her, because ultimately that would be the goal. newyorkjetshampur.com/post/417633

She has a fairly broad appeal, and Im a big fan of her foreign policy take, wanting to get us out of playing world police.
She's taking on John Brennan these days, which is great. And she smacked Kamala around during the debates.
She still leans a little too left for me on the domestic stuff. A little too much with the climate change stuff, but if she toned that down... During the primaries, I said if I had to pick a Dem to win the primary, it would be her.
I know certain Libertarian groups on social media are throwing out the idea of an Amash/Gabbard ticket in 4 years, which would probably be their best chance at any success, just from name recognition alone.

She kinda falls victim the the biggest libertarian flaw, in that if we just stop asserting any foreign influence, all the worlds problems go away, but other than that I like her.

It could also be looked at as it isn't our job to "solve" the world's problems. 9 times out of 10 we create new or worse problems with our solutions. The only argument I agree with regarding intervention is that the vacuum would be filled by Russia or China.

We def are involved way too much, but I think there is a nice gooey middle somewhere out there between the status quo and the general libertarian company line re foreign policy. Like, we dont have to be world police, but lets not necessarily be friendly to Asad, something like that.
