It could also be looked at as it isn't our job to "solve" the world's problems. 9 times out of 10 we create new or worse problems with our solutions. The only argument I agree with regarding intervention is that the vacuum would be filled by Russia or China. Following the Prime Directive never works out on Star Trek, though. So what to do? That is going to fly over so many heads here, lol. |
