added "silver" to the thread title
guys what is happening (possibly) in the silver markets is paradigm-changing. both good and bad
gme was not even a quiet fart compared to what can happen if the silver shorts get beat. i'm not sure it can happen because silver derivatives are a criminal joke, based on non-existent silver (most likely 500-1 paper vs. actual available physical silver above ground on the planet right now)... i would guess they could throw more paper at it (robr?) but either way, if the masses pull of an effective short squeeze demanding physical delivery, we could be talking global bank failures. REAL shit hitting the fan stuff
bullion sellers have shut off selling silver, apparently because all the phyz has been bought up by the wsb/reddit/robinhood horde.
tomorrow is going to be nucking futs

It was only a matter of time. Down $135 per share right now. So what is the next stock to play? Is the fun over? I don't follow them for exactly the reason as what is unfolding over the last couple of days. Every stock they pumped up is in massive free fall and people are going to lose their shit. They say it's to squeeze the shorts, and they are partly right, but all I see is a massive pump and dump. If you want to find the next pump and dump just follow volume.

Be careful what you ask for because more often than not the dump happens in the of an eye. Stocks can lose half or even more of their value from one trade to the next. Yesterday they were pumping silver until today happened and silver is now getting rocked.

Be careful what you ask for because more often than not the dump happens in the of an eye. Stocks can lose half or even more of their value from one trade to the next. Yesterday they were pumping silver until today happened and silver is now getting rocked. Understood. Here is a real life example of what can happen to a stock. I bought an IPO on it's first day trading for just under $25 per share. The stock kept rising rapidly and about seven weeks later the traders got in it. One day it moved upwards so fast on crazy volume that it more than doubled in price and it hit $300 on the nose. Then the stock was halted and when it resumed trading it was at $170. My order went through at $170 and I made a nice $45k profit on an initial invest of around $9k, but a lot of people lost a huge chunk of their money in a nanosecond. Shit like this happens all of the time in the market, so be wary of these pump and dumps because sometimes it can be hard getting out as the share price craters.
