His radio talk show was a hoot.
A woman called in to complain that mace/pepper spray was being banned (or something to that effect) in her state.
He replied by stating that there are no laws against wasp/hornet spray...the ones that spray 20+ feet.

i thought he was already dead. so that will definitely speed up my mourning process
i remember reading that the guy would hold his hand over a lit candle to learn to ignore pain, in case he got captured and tortured. always wondered how that messed up his whacking off game

Another story, he allegedly held his had over a candle in a restaurant, the kind encased in a globe with an open top until people could smell flesh cooking. Strange but engaging man and a tough guy. The kind of guy who if he warned you, it would be wise to listen. As Sonny Berger the former leader of the Hells Angels once said: "Everybody's a tough guy, until you meet one."
