If Baltimore and Jacksonville don't take Humphrey he should be there at 34. I don't care if it's a little bit of a reach, grab him JD. Then kick McGovern to guard and kick 2 guards to the curb. What if Teven Jenkins is still on the board at 34? That would be insane but I think they take Tyson Campbell, the cornerback from Georgia.

What if Teven Jenkins is still on the board at 34? Developmental player, missed end of season because of lower back issues. I'd rsther have Humphrey. thedraftnetwork.com/player/teven-jenkins/MGMctYsV60

Jenkins could probably push to start day 1 at RG and kick out to RT possibly in the future.

Good take by Damien Woody
@damienwoody: #Jets have 21 picks over the next two drafts and all those picks ain’t making the team. Either use some of those picks to move up to get guys they want or go get veterans but no reason this team can’t get much better quickly!

I want OL with the 2nd pick. Would be OK trading up to get a stud. I agree. I want Vera-Tucker or Jenkins. Good call!

A lot of talent on the board still at #34. Ojulari Owasu- Koramoah Jenkins Elijah Moore He would be an interesting pick. www.nfl.com/news/best-remaining-prospects-available-in-the-2021-nfl-draft"Owusu-Koramoah starred as an athletic hybrid defender for the Fighting Irish. He can play Will linebacker, safety or even cover in the slot. He's very fluid and twitchy to mirror tight ends, backs or slot receivers. He's very aware as a zone dropper and he's an explosive blitzer off the edge. He is quick to key/read before dipping under blocks on the front side against the run. He flashes the ability to use his length to punch off blockers, but he is much more effective beating them to spots. He has big-time speed to chase from the back side. He needs to improve his consistency as a tackler in space, though, as he has too many fly-by misses. He brings outstanding leadership to the defense. Overall, Owusu-Koramoah might lack ideal size/bulk, but he's built for a pass-happy NFL."

He's touted as a leader, and for a team with a defensive minded coach who needs to rework his linebacker corps, he might be a good fit for us. Honestly, while I'd love to double down on OL, either at #34 or moving back, I would be happy with him, Ojulari, Elijah Moore, one of the remaining corners... there's quite a bit of pretty good talent left thanks to, I think, some teams reaching in the first round. Even if they move down a little, they should still be able to get someone good. Do they maybe look to move down 10 spots and pick up a 3rd from Dallas if the Cowboys are hot for one of the CBs? That would seem to be very Joe Douglas-esque. Maybe you get #44 and either #75 or #99 for the #34? Or maybe move down to #37 to pick up one of the Eagles 3rd rounders?

Seeing a lot of "we could have stayed at 23 and gotten Darrisaw" comments around the internet.
One, Darrisaw projects as a LT. Here, he'd have to move to RT most likely. Two, some scouting reports that he lacks aggression and physicality - which seem to be traits Douglas likes. Three, I think the Jets like Fant at RT, at least for now, esp in the new offense. He seemed to come on late in the season.
AVT is a plug and play LG for hopefully the next decade - ask the Colts if they regret taking Quentin Nelson at #6 overall. You certainly can take a generational talent at guard in the top half of the first round.
