Wifne admitted to never seeing Shawshank Redemption so we watched it (me for the billionth time) last night. At the end she cried and said "I wish I had a friendship that beautiful." So we're in the WC and it took a 2-0 loss to Costa Rica to seal it.
Gotta love Soccer.
Interesting side-note; Christian Pulisic is a Jet fan!

So we're in the WC and it took a 2-0 loss to Costa Rica to seal it. Gotta love Soccer. Interesting side-note; Christian Pulisic is a Jet fan! Ehh. Shouldn't look at this game in a vacuum. It's the culmination of a round Robin tournament, in which we did enough to qualify. Reverse this loss with a previous win and the feel is totally different. Thought we outplayed them for the most part. Navas (CR keeper) just kept showing why he's been world class. Speaking of keepers, no way Steffen should just be considered the unanimous #1. He seems complacent at times and more importantly is fat |

Ugly or not, Italy has a problem with Chielini and Bonucci getting old and no-one ready to take over. They'll prolly try to milk it till the WC next year..might work, or not. Imma little late...but problem solved...lolz! |

Talks of unity and peace and blah blah blah. We want peace but love to host the World Cup where slave labor was used to create all these stadiums that won't be used after the tournament at all!
