Mayo is made of eggs and oil, which are ingredients in basically every type of cake. They're more moist, too. You're missing out. I have never ever heard of a chocolate mayonnaise cake. |

Sorry to hear. If my sister's father in law died of a brain aneurism I'd probably laugh. Guy is a prick. he was actually a great guy. long time jets season ticket holder, and a master chef in the restaurant business. his tailgates were insane, better food than you would find at most restaurants. just an all around great guy. it sucks Sorry for your loss. My moms sister died of a brain aneurism about 60 years ago when she was only 15. |

Two Thanksgivings ago, my wifne made a chocolate mayonnaise cake. He tried a piece and told her, to her face, that it was too dry (it wasn't even close). She just smiled and said "To each his own." Last Thanksgiving, wife bakes a pumpkin pie. The prick said, "Now this is good. Much better than that crappy cake you made last year." He's a big wine snob who is always "You should have picked X-wine because it has sweet, earthy undertones that would pair nicely with X-food," to which I said "You should have brought your own." UWS douche lib who asks to be picked up from the LIRR station, which is slightly less than 1,200 feet from my house. First time I met him was at my parent's house on the North Fork like 10 years ago. Mother-fucker put ketchup on a hot dog and I was all "Who the fuck is this joker?" Yet if she just said it was chocolate cake, and didn't mention the mayo, the doosh may say nothing. Mayo is just eggs and oil - which is pretty much in any cake ever made, so why not take a short cut and use mayo? My mom used to make this baked chicken recipe with mayo that was pretty damn good. |
