Went to Barcelona and got the Rona. Used public transportation ( bus, train, subway). Masks were compulsory. Guess they didn’t work for me?
Yes, I had the 2 Pfizer followed by the booster. No more though. So far just a really bad sore throat, night sweats/chills, and a lot of flemmy shit coming up.
On the plus side: there was an Iron Maiden concert (I didn’t go). Nothing screams metal more than 75 year old dude dressed in chains and Iron Maiden gear putting on his helmet and driving off on his Vespa. Rock on gramps.
Lots of cool touristy things to see. Most of the touristy stuff focuses on Gaudi. That all well and good but figure there’s a much richer history beyond gaudi
Women dress is fortunately revealing. Generally very fit and confident.
Booz is cheap. Very. So are groceries.
I noticed very few homeless. There were some but I didn’t Notice any major encampments like Atlanta, Denver, or LA.
Downside is the cool old gothic areas generally smell like shit. Between the ancient sewer system and people letting their dogs shit and piss everywhere…
Speaking of dogs, there were lots of them. They seem to love their dogs. I did not see 1 cat though.
Pickpockets are a mofo. Not aggressive but very sneaky. We were aware of this beforehand so tried to take appropriate precautions. One took a tab at my wife’s purse when there was a issue with the turnstile in the subway. She was distracted focusing on her card that wouldn’t work. At the same time 2 dudes leaving at the adjacent turnstile one made a quick jab. Luckily her purse was all zipped and he got nothing. Sneaky bastard.
Another observation: No solar panels. No windmills. No apparent green movement here.

In fairness, that could be a safety cap that is used to cover the needle after administration.

Go figure, a country that actually cares about the health of their citizens while the US is jabbing 6 month olds.

Go figure, a country that actually cares about the health of their citizens while the US is jabbing 6 month olds. And meanwhile, Twitter is marking postings of this as 'misinformation' because "COVID vaccines are safe".
