analogy to a dog is kind of condescending to criminals...like they don't know any better...what is PURPOSEFUL incarceration?...like addiction treatment?...i think most of the homeless should be given a choice....drug rehab or jail... I get what you're saying, but truth be told I feel most people learn best when taught like they are dogs (mostly). Almost all behavior is learned, and typically it's a consequence of how it was taught. Positive reinforcement is more effective than negative, and experiences can be reshaped to be teachable moments. Of course there are always outliers, but by and large that approach works. I know I'm not usually the hippy-dippy one around here, but I'm speaking from a significant professional and personal viewpoint, so I think I'm pretty well-versed (I actually teach this shit now, lol). Purposeful incarceration is just that; something that is more than just a day-hab for inmates. My first choice would be adding in trade school certifications. Of course drug treatment and psych already exist, but I question their efficacy (and motivations). They're certainly needed, so you can't nuke them, but they definitely need refinement. Homelessness/drugs/alcohol/mental illness is the eternal dog chasing its tail conundrum; hard to pin down which one lead to which for each individual, so it winds up being a spectrum people try to address (usually poorly/inadequately) so it continues, ad nauseum. Like I said, no easy (or cheap) answers. we agree on most of what we are talking about...but lowering bail standards and changing laws in favor of criminals is only huring the poor neighborhoods...most people in jail in this country are in for violent behavior...most people dealing and taking drugs are not in prison...

I am really torn on this one. Yes I think McCarthy could be doing a much better job but it is also forcing an unearned error for the GOP when they need all the help they can get. I was listening to Ben Shapiro last night and while his analysis annoyed me I do think he is right that now is not the time to make this move. i agree mostly...but posted Gaetz to emphazie that spending is totally out of control...

Yeah I think both can be right. While this isn't the time for a leadership change Gaetz is right that spending is out of control, McCarthy wasn't living up to his promises, etc. I guess it all depends on how this turns out in the end.

Wish there was another way because I agree with Jetworks that prison is not rehabilitation. The only other idea for people that aren't fully gone would be an option to join the military and get their shit together. I think this "kid" is too far gone. The mother's time was years ago and she missed that opportunity. I also agree that if he had a father (she was married before spawning) and the father was a good man there is a much better chance this kid would have turned out better. Water under the bridge now. vnsh.com/products/vnsh-holstertkasper01 RobR Either of you guys ever heard of this holster??? I don't like anything made of fabric.....they're not secure enough and get worse over time.

It's nice to see immediate consequences for his lying cocksucker behavior.

I just think there must have been a better way to do this.

I am unsure of my brand, but they look exactly like this: same material and design.

I have a couple of them, they are quality holsters. Only thing I don't like is how bulky the top of the retention clip is, makes it really hard to not print. Gonna give Vedder a shot next I have a Zero Carry for my single stack Beretta, perfect for that. Don't know if I'd trust it for something bigger/heavier.

I'm not following you with the retention clip mention. I use the basic IWB kydex holster and I carry a double stack Glock 27 and love it. It has a screw so you can adjust the retention but no secondary moves are needed to deploy your weapon. Couple that with a nice belt meant to carry a gun and it's a winner in my book even though it's a bit on the larger side. It's so comfortable I forget I'm carrying 10 rounds of .40 and I don't have any issues with printing...just make sure you have a long enough shirt.

It's got a weird bend in it and is the only part that prints. Even with their claw it sticks out.

I still can't comprehend how the belt clip would print, but not over half the gun that is sticking out past it. You wearing something like this?

Gun is pushed back from the belt line with the claw, but the belt clip ends up printing. I'm not above wearing a size large that flatters my figure.
