Oh we have one. My parents have a house on the north fork and my old man HAD gorgeous rose bushes, but they were torn apart by deer. I brought out the pellet/bb rifle that I had as a kid. A few Christmas ago, I got my old man a paintball gun so he could tag the deer in bright yellow. But now he's taken the next step and allows hunters on his property. One acre of property and there's one tree that has metal footholds drilled into it. Every kill andy father gets a pic. He also has cameras everywhere so he can see the kills. I think he's just pissed about his roses. Just let him shoot it in your backyard with supervision and before long you'll be plinking again. I live in the burbs and I've created a 2'x2' space with a backstop that allows me to shoot in my backyard...if only I could upload a pic. Pellet rifles have come a long way over the last 20 years and are a blast to shoot, and also learn from. I've seen really cool looking airsoft guns. No idea what they shoot or how good they are but they look cool. |
