We are aa potential SC championship contender with one glaring hole. As good as anyone in the league on 5 on 5, but its a lot harder to win games when the pp is a liability. |

Aho is downright brutal. I don't want to overreact but sometimes I feel like I'm watching our team age by the game. UBS can't come soon enough.

I thought he did fine, considering first game in forever, lead TOI, and vs Tampa. The team as a whole is hot garbage now. 3 goals in last 3 games. 5 in 4 games if you count Winnipeg. Absolutely pathetic PP. and instead of starting your regular goalie and getting a little payback for last year game 7, maybe get a little momentum going, trotz starts Varly for a chip a little rust off game. Wtf. |

Wtf. I thought he was horrible and was responsible for the first goal with his errant pass. I know he was on the ice for two of the goals but I think it might be the first three. He's also smaller than Hickey so there's that. After we get past our top 6 there is a huge dropoff in talent. Can't argue about the rest, spot on. |

Look at the upcoming schedules, almost every game is on ESPN+. I buy the center ice package every year for the sole reason of watching the Isles and they spring this money grab now. Fuck the NHL and fuck ESPN+. I'm going to try and cancel my center ice tomorrow because that was false advertising....watch 40+ out of network games a week. It sucks paying for the package and then having to use a stream. |

Hey boys,just want to say I've been driving by the new USB arena regularly since construction began and it looks fucking awesome. Dont know about the inside, but the way they matched the racetrack facade, gave it a Citi-field vibe and the lighting..is beautiful. Plus they just opened a new LIRR station nearby (eastbound only for now). So you'll have the option of the Belmont LIRR, the Elmont LIRR (with shuttles) in addition to driving. (they also built a parking garage adjacent in the Belmont parking area).
Its gonna fuck up my travels on game nights, but it looks damn impressive from the Cross Island Parkway.

This team is cursed this year.
Finally finish up a 13-game road trip to start the season. Opening of the new building tonight, and it seems like half the team is out with Covid. Lee, Bailey, Beau, Pelech, Greene, Johnston. And Pulock out with injury. Going to need Sorokin/Varlamov to steal one tonight.
