One day there will be a documentary on the impact the SB meltdown had on the team, players and organization.. I met a guy who was from Atlanta. He was no longer a fan after that loss and he was a die hard for like 40 years. At halftime he started driving to downtown ATL to celebrate with the entire city. At the end of the game he burned all his falcons shit and decided never to root for them again. I guess I can understand. If the jets ever made the SB and lost like that after being up by 30 pts I might finally free myself of this torturous franchise. Although the Jets will probably loose in some more horrible, yet hysterical, way. Like an immaculate miracle penis possession - like a buttfumble, mixed with an immaculate reception and the music city miracle all in one, but more painful. |
