So if the 37 yr old tackle comes back does AVT go to RT? I'd give Hermanns the start at RT and see what we have. Guy was dominant in preseason and McDermott is awful. So I'd go: Brown-Tomlinson-McGovern-AVT-Hermanns I like this. Long term I wonder if we can move Hermanns to center. We need to rid ourselves of McG and McD. |

I don't think Hermanns has ever played center or guard for that matter so I'm not sure if he's the answer there. What I do know is that he's been with us two years now and has looked great both run blocking and pass blocking, albeit in preseason, at both tackle positions. I'm probably a little biased because he's a local kid....just found out his dad shops at the same grocery store I frequent at times. |

I’m thinking he probably meant Herbig He looked overwhelmed early in the game then seemed to settle down and perform at a competent level. I also didn’t realize that he has a full seasons worth of starts under his belt in Philly and is still only 24. Might have a future as a starter on the interior. |
