I figured they were done. The line was not holding up and protecting Wilson, Mitchell went down, ATV playing tackle, having to pass every down against a pretty good Squealers secondary. I figured it as close but no cigar. Pleasantly surprised, the patchwork line sucked it up and held when the jets needed it, Wilson stood in there like a man and delivered, the receivers stepped up and the backs did too. Nice win, shit like this can become contagious. Still there are silly mistakes and penalties to clean up and the tipped passes were maddening. Big game October 9th against the Fins. Jets games may become watchable again.

I like this. Long term I wonder if we can move Hermanns to center. We need to rid ourselves of McG and McD. I don't think Hermanns has ever played center or guard for that matter so I'm not sure if he's the answer there. What I do know is that he's been with us two years now and has looked great both run blocking and pass blocking, albeit in preseason, at both tackle positions. I'm probably a little biased because he's a local kid....just found out his dad shops at the same grocery store I frequent at times. I meant Herbig. Its a longshot and hes a JAG, I know. Hermanns impressed me in camp. Id rather he get a shot at RT over McDermott. For some reason JD and the coaching staff seem to love McDermott despite him being statistically the worst T in the league. |

I think the Jets have 11 draft picks in 2023. Draft all Oline. Trade up to get the best players available but draft Oline only IMO. Make us the deepest Oline in the league. |

This might be the first time I have ever seen us do this. Other teams have been doing this since replay came back like 20 years ago.

I think the Jets have 11 draft picks in 2023. Draft all Oline. Trade up to get the best players available but draft Oline only IMO. Make us the deepest Oline in the league. Sprinkle in a LB and a S. |

But, I’m still happy about this win for all the reasons people have given - Zach and the team bounced back to win after the momentum shifted and they were down 10 pts. Last 2 scoring drives, D actually got turnovers, 128 yards and a TD in the 4th quarter after an up and down game. They really did it. There’s actually a ray of hope for this God forsaken franchise. Finally! 😎 |

Gotta give props to Corey Davis. Save 1 blown coverage big catch vs Cleveland he seems to have been invisible. Made some big time plays this game. One of the better ones he’s had that I can recall.
