All Good man. Scared the fuck out of me. I thought a truck or something hit the house. Was really loud. Had a small one near my house years ago and I lived in a town where mines would collapse and take out people's basements or yards. Was loud enough to make me think one caved in near by. Thankfully when the one fell in on the town soccer field it was at night and no one was on the field. Had a 12 foot sink hole right in from of the goal on the little kids field. |

I still remember the one that hit us in 2011. Surreal.
Now imagine living in shithole California and having that be a regular thing on top of everything else.

What town was that? Randomly collapsing mines?! I don’t think I’d be able to sleep at night Ironically named Mine Hill. Might have been a hint there we missed. They kept saying that it would be too expensive to map them with air LIDAR. As far as I know no one was ever hurt by one. Not like it happened often, just often enough to be a concern. |
