borgata for wild card weekend i hope they have teh peacock Is AC still a thing? I've heard it's a third world slum now? I was there for a Volleyball tourney with the Daupne and Wifney last year. Sort of is. Kinda depressing. I dont gamble, I dont do shows etc, so that environment is meh to me to begin with. Wifne had fun playing roulette, I got yelled at by a cocktail waitress for taking a drink off her tray (I was trying to help). Didnt realize it was a balance thing and that you should never do that. She was about 20 years past the age an older cocktail waitress should be. Place smelled like cigarette smoke and dried up old booze. Only the second time I was in AC, the first time being in late 80's and the place seemed done then. I guess if you were really into gambling, you'd look at it through a different lense. |

ac the town is a fucking dump
and many of teh casinos have degraded in quality, but basically in line with teh decline of american culture
shitty service, deteriorating facilities
i sat drinking my coffee this a.m. at the edge of the casino just watching people walk by. literally 90%+ of the people were visibly overweight, and a good portion of them morbidly obese. dressed in fucking sweatpants, mumu sized t-shirts, riding fucking scooters. disgusting cigarette smoke, some people had their toddlers and kids there with them.
and don't get me started on the drunks. from what i heard anyways
