More film I see of Bowers, more I like him. Which means some dickhead will jump ahead of us and take him. Short of Harrison, Nabers, Odunze or Alt falling to #10, I think he’s the pick. I don’t care if TE isn’t a “premium position”. Hell, that’s the only reason we’ll have a legitimate shot at Bowers in the first place. You’ve solidified the OL, added your #2 wideout opposite Wilson and you’re getting back your HOF QB. Yes I know this whole thing is all largely dependent on health but you could say that about every team in the league. If you can add a weapon like Bowers to cap off a pretty damn stellar offseason, then do it. This team had a 2-3 year window from the moment they traded for Rodgers. Don’t suddenly pucker your asshole and get scared now. all the mocks I've seen either leave us with Bowers, an OT, an edge rusher or a WR. that's a pretty good position for us to be in

Shaq Barret was almost a Jet before the Phins got him last second…per Shaq Barret. He said he didn’t sign with Jet basically because the Phins were better and the tax difference between the states. Gonna have to overpay for Clowney. The whole tax thing adds another dimension to free agent signings.

IF they really think that playing tackle is why AVT got hurt then they should be fired. Both of his injuries were to muscles you use at every OL position. Pushing with you arms uses your triceps and pushing with your legs uses your achilles. I dont know what else they can do with regard to training. They hardly practice as it is already. Maybe more stretching. Morgan Moses played with a torn pectoral last year. Some guys are iron men, some are marshmallows.

I think the decrease in actual, game-type contact during practice is a huge factor for those susceptible. If you're half-assing it most of the time, when you have to actually give that 100% your body may react poorly to that demand if it's not used to it. Common sense, but hey, player safety.
