I just think trying to go too much against the grain is how you end up with Derrius Heyward-Bey instead of Michael Crabtree. I love Parker, but Cooper is basically the guy you can count on to at the very least be a reliable 900-1100 yard receiver for the next decade and maybe make a few pro-bowls along the way. He and Scherff are the two safest players in the entire draft IMO. Trust me....I like Cooper, i'm just trying too slot these guys 1-5. This draft is looking even stronger than I anticipated at WR and we need to get one of them on our roster. OL we can discuss later. BTW I'll take Peat 100 times out of 100 times over Scherff and it's not even close. The only way I'm taking Peat over Scherff is if I have a dire need for a starting LT and I know that's where I'm playing him from Day 1. If I'm looking for a RT or a guy to kick inside to OG and be a Zack Martin-type roadgrader, then I'm taking Scherff. If I'm the Raiders, I'd take Peat. If I'm the Jets, I'd take Scherff.

Peat is a much better prospect from every angle. He's a boy developing into a body that screams Willie Roaf .....and while Scherff is a top notch talent the upside is not there. Just wait until his alligator arms get measured.

It comes down to how much value you place on a guy like that. Peat projects as a prototypical NFL LT. I think he can easily put on an additional 20 pounds and still be as effective.
