5 years ago in 2010 The Jets were again only 1 game away from the Super Bowl. They would face the Colts.
The Jets were fresh off of two road playoff wins ..
The Jets were up 17-6 in the second quarter and then it all unraveled.
Dreams were dashed again as the Colts won 30-17.
The Jets couldn't score in the second half despite Sanchez throwing for over 300yds..
No trip back to the big dance.
Hopefully someday soon Jet Fans....

Like all Jet fans, thought it was are day when Braylen goes 80 yards for a touchdown. So painful, these January playoff loses.

This was bad,but felt a little like house money (still tuff) 2011 was worse.

This was bad,but felt a little like house money (still tuff) 2011 was worse. I agree. Didn't really expect to beat the Colts that day -- when we were up 17-6 in teh 2nd, I began to think maybe we had a shot. Then the Colts scored just before the half and it completely changed the complexion of the game. The next season was much worse - I still we were the better team, Steelers were banged up, and we came out flat.

2 other notes from Jan 24 in Jets history.
Jan 24, 1995: Hugh Douglas is named Rookie of the Year Jan 24, 2000: Al Groh becomes head coach -- taking over a couple of weeks after the Hoodie resigned after 1 day as HC of the NYJ.
