This guy was such a tremendous talent just starting to come into his own. I saw Skynyrd shortly before the crash (a matter of months if I remember correctly) I still remember the show being phenomenal. Younger guys should listen to as much as they can from those days...this clip and the rest of that concert footage is priceless.

Amazing show, at Nassau Coliseum

Yeah I remember Gaines' solo in "T for texas T for Tenessee" when he played it live. It was sick! I was a big Skynyrd fan growing up in Queens, me and my cousin used to air guitar their songs all night long.
