Good morning Jets fans.....
on this date in 1964 Jim Foss brokered a deal to sell the AFL'S TV rights to NBC for a then
36 Million dollars....
That instantly increased the value of each AFL franchise and gave the League more credibility.
The AFL NFL merger was close to becoming a reality.....
