I'm a Tampa/Oakland/Jax/Tenn fan the rest of the season.... The Jets will take care of the rest themselves sadly... I don't even care about Oakland at this point. They're virtually guaranteed the #1 overall pick. If we want Mariota, we just have to hope that they take someone like Leonard Williams/Randy Gregory/Andrus Peat or trade the pick to us. Jacksonville could be in play for a trade as well at #2. If Tampa ends up picking at #2, then we're pretty much fucked on the Mariota front unless we get the #1 pick from Oakland. You have to get in front of Tampa to have a legit sure shot at getting Mariota, and that's most likely going to be the first overall pick.

Yea Jokeland is terrible and they probably have their win of the season already.... Jax still has to play Tennessee so let them beat up on each other... If Tampa tanks then we are royally screwed. It would be either take the major risk on Winston, or take Cooper(which I would be extremely happy with) or another position and have QB as a question mark for another season......

Close competitive game, an opportunity to take a look at some young guys, a late loss to keep in the Draft-A-QB hunt. Gotta think long term at 2-9. Where

Agreed. I was quite ambivalent on this game. I enjoyed watching the Jets run through the Dolphins like butter for a while, but knew it would eventually catch up with them. You can't be that one-dimensional against a decent team and expect to win unless you get a serious turnover boost. On a side note, I was wondering if Nick Folk was trying to make sure we get a good QB. I've never seen him miss like that. G-Nope was like a baby in diapers the whole game. They wouldn't let him throw the ball to save his life/career. Really sad to watch. Westhoff said during warmups that Folk wasn't making anything past 40 yards and attributed it to the damp heavy air. Unless of course Folk was practicing missing at halftime.

I think it was just an overall lousy night for Folkhero who became Folk-zero of his early Jets days. Then again, if the Jets end up with Mariota, then he will be hailed as Folk-hero.

Tampa has 2 division games left, and the play the Packers and Detroit. They are playing better with mc own back, maybe they can go 2-2.

They've spent their whole life practicing to succeed not fail at a given set of skills. Even the kick-offs were short. Looked like they were all kicking a brick.

But I'm just saying that because I was replying to your post and don't remember him saying anything similar. Whatever, though...It seems that Nick is hurt so that could be a factor.
