On this Day in 2012 Curtis Martin was selected for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Curtis was one of my favourite Jets player, he was selfless and was very kind man.
From a tough upbringing, Martin stayed focused and made the most out of his God given talent.

By far my favorite Jet player. His was the first authentic jersey I ever bought back in 1997. Still have it, still wear it. One of the truly "good guys" in the League. Tough, played hurt, passionate. Guys like Curtis Martin don't come along very often.

I am a moron. Oh wait! I haven't said anything stupid yet.  Anyway, we were so spoiled as Jets fans to have such an awesome running back on this team. Plus, he was such a class act. You don't find too many of those players with the combo of Talent/Class in this league these days. I miss Curtis. |

I am a day late with this one, but Feb 4, 2009 -- National High School Signing Day. Jets future draft pick, rookie of the year and pro bowler, Sheldon Richardson signs his binding letter of intent with the University of Missouri. Sheldon was a two way player in high school -- played tight end and D Line. Found this video of him from high school -- most of the clips are of Richardson playing tight end. Even one clip of him returning a punt.

That means you're a closet Patriots fan. Ban and decapitate. Or vice-versa. |

I thought his induction speech was highly inappropriate.
