Today on this date in 2010 the Jets signed Long Snapper Tannerr Purdum. He took the Job from James Dearth after Dearth had a tough 2009.

I guess Feb 5 has been a slow news day. And its Tanner Purdum, not Tyler -- likely the only graduate of Baker University ever to make it to the NFL.

 once I circle back to December this year I ll have 365 updates..... except for Feb 29th...On February 29, 2008, the Carolina Panthers traded Chris Jenkins to the New York Jets for third- and fifth-round draft picks in the 2008 NFL Draft.... theres the Feb 29th non leap year entry..... |

Pretty sure we also signed Alan Faneca on the same day. Might as well get in a couple of leap year updates on a slow day when the only other news is signing a long snapper. |
