Dorial Green-Beckham - WR - Sooners Oklahoma WR Dorial Green-Beckham must perform well at the combine to stabilize his draft stock, according to NFL Media draft analyst Lance Zierlein. "The last time we saw Green-Beckham in a game was Dec. 7, 2013 (SEC Championship Game), as he was dismissed from Missouri last offseason and sat out the 2014 season after transferring to Oklahoma," Zierlein wrote. "However, given his rare athleticism, everyone is assuming he's going to test well at the combine, and he needs to meet high expectations for his workout. If he doesn't run a really good 40-yard dash, I think that's going to hurt him." Zierlein recently interviewed an NFC director of personnel who didn't believe Green-Beckham should be taken prior to the fourth-round. "I think the consistent problems for Josh Gordon are going to leak over and hurt (Green-Beckham's) draft stock," the executive said. "He's tall and fast and has good hands, but he can't be trusted. Why would you take a guy like that before the third day?" The 6-foot-6, 225-pounder "has the ability to be a similar pro prospect as A.J. Green and earn top-10 grades." I know it's kind of overkill, but imagine Parker in the 1st, Gurley in the 2nd, and DGB in the 3rd. I'd probably piss my pants with excitement. Even Geno could look half way decent with those weapons. it would be a little bit devastating for our organization if we do not adress our Oline needs at least somewhere in the first 3 rounds, if not in the first (just a thought) ....... beside that i do think we need a very good rb, and not two but one nr.1 receiver

Spending big money on free agent skill players is a big risk, especially when you have a Geno Smith at QB. The big money O-line guys can still perform at a big salary level even if the QB sucks. Plus, you get a little more longevity spending big money on a 29 year old O'Lineman as opposed to a 29 year old skill player.

I know Breno gets a lot of hate, but you can still win with him so replacing him isn't a must this offseason. Also Abushi, Dozier, another late round prospect, and even Winters should be able to step up and do a decent job at RG. I'd much rather grab Beckham in the 3rd who is an elite talent than grab a so so guard prospect.

It's nice to see Parker finally getting some love...he's been my #1 right from the start.

If Parker runs sub 4.4 then he should be considered the best WR in this draft. I think he is already, but a fast 40 time will probably open a lot more eyes. Plus, the guy catches the ball effortlessly. He won't be considered a reach at 6 by the time the draft arrives.

It's nice to see Parker finally getting some love...he's been my #1 right from the start. I've felt the same, and it's why I've mocked him to the Jets. I believe that as sec101 said, by the time the draft rolls around, the distance between him, Cooper and white will be negligible. He offers as much upside as receiver in the draft not named DGB

I was on the Mariota bandwagon, but after watching more film, and interviews… I have questions. He never called his own plays from a conventional huddle, never took direct snaps from under center, didn’t use many audibles – just the same one word. The reads he made in college were simplistic 1, 2 step… He threw to large windows and wasn’t asked to make many NFL type throws. Overall the offense he ran was incredible simplistic. Sure he’s competitive in his personality, but it’s a quiet, non-assertive way. I think he’s a remarkable athlete, but is he on the same level as RG3? No… I don’t see him with the same speed, arm or even knowledge at this point. I also don’t see him having the same level of experience/aptitude/control as Russell Wilson entering the league. Very hard prospect to evaluate, which likely means he slides some come draft time.

After drunkenly spilling over tape of the top 3 OLBs last night, I'm back on the Ray train. That guy is the real deal and then some. I got a little bamboozled by Fowler last week, but I'm settling on Ray as an animal who'll find his way to the ball no matter what. He's so quick on the snap, he reminds me of the way Jason Taylor used to always find himself reaching for the qb or the back. Not as tall obviously, but instincts galore.
I think teams are more infatuated with Gregory's potential than anything. Dreaming of JPP upside. I'd rather not chase that rainbow.
I see what people are saying when i read "Fowler's best football is still to come"... but i wonder if he's career doesn't look more like Bryan Thomas than T-Sizzle.

*sigh* with hearts in my eyes This WR class it very top heavy. I honestly believe he will be there when we pick in the second round. The NFL took a beating this last year and even though he's a great talent I think a lot of teams moved him down or took them off their draft board. Hopefully, our new scouting department isn't that stupid.

It will be interesting to hear the reports that start coming out of Indy this week as teams interview the kid.
