But seriously, and not to derail Ballbatherside's thread, but I'm in a place right now where I'm looking back over 46 years and realizing that women have been so much a source of misery and heartbreak and unneeded drama. In addition to that, consorting with them has cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars. I'm to the point I'd rather go fishing and jerk off. I know, your mileage may vary. A lot of guys on here pick the right woman and are happy for life. God bless em, but that has not been my experience. So yeah Southside, go find a woman. That'll fix all your problems.  |

I've already changed the places I was hanging and the people I was drinking with. Every now and then I just want to get a damned whiskey and/or beer and just relax. That's kind of the problem. Oh well, I'm over that now. Today was a beautiful day.

Now that it's getting warmer down south I'm starting to get that "patio day drinking" itch... And then I realize that I can still enjoy a beautiful day sans alcohol. And in fact I really do enjoy the day more so when I'm sober so high five! How long have you been sober Ff2? |
