2/13/1975: Weeb Ewbank is replaced by Al Ward as Jets GM.
Ward's tenure got off to a great start during the 1975 pre-season, when the Jets went 4-1; however, once the regular season started, things went downhill. The Jets could not match that 4-win total in either of the 2 regular seasons with Ward at the helm. He was fired at the end of the 1976 season with two 3-11 records to show for his efforts.
