Last year my "dark horse” guy was Dustin Vaughn. I wanted the Jets to draft him in round 7. The Cowboys signed him after the draft and he made their active roster (not PS)… This year's guy for me is Connor Halliday, who is a lot more polished. His senior season was cut short, but he put up some sick games in a spread offense – including: 532 yards - 5 tds-1 int vs Rutgers 734 yards - 6 tds-0 int vs California 436 yards – 4 tds-0 int vs #2 Oregon 489 yards – 4 tds-2 int vs. #15 Arizona Now a lot of this is due to the offense that they ran at Washington State, but we’re going to be running a similar schemes I suspect (and he’s not a rd. 1 pick). What I like is that he’s got size 6’4”, and a live NFL caliber arm, and he hasn’t filled out his frame (194 lbs). He throws with accuracy and touch… good ball placement. I’ve watched some interviews and he comes across bright, likeable. Where many QB’s fall apart in big games, this kid has played with ice water in his veins. I’m guessing he’s a mid to late round pick, but will depend on how he looks coming back from injury, would not be a shock if he goes undrafted either. bleacherreport.com/articles/2221045-connor-halliday-is-the-best-college-football-quarterback-no-one-is-talking-about#articles/2221045-connor-halliday-is-the-best-college-football-quarterback-no-one-is-talking-about
