February 14th this day in NY Jets history

Not much to add to today -- although in addition to Lance's birthday, today is also my daughter's birthday.

Only other items of significance from this date were last year, 2/14/15, the Jets exercised their contract option on Calvin Pace and Jason Babin. Pace would go onto play all 16 games for the Jets while Babin was cut in preseason. He signed with both Arizona and Baltimore during the season but saw very little action with both.

And, on this date in 1990, Bruce Coslet hired Monte Kiffin as Linebackers Coach. Kiffin would coach with the Jets for one season -- he went to Minnesota as DC in 1991.
