Some funny spots, and a ton on not so funny, just like a regular SNL show.
Eddie Murphy was a dissapointment, just came out and stood there. Chevy looked lost. Lorne Michaels looked like an ego maniacal doosh. That Californians skit went way too long, and not funny.
Some good clips, but you can just google that on youtube at your liesure.

I thought it was great. The Eddie Murphy worship was weird. Miley Cyrus can actually sing. Fucking Kanye. I liked Kristen Wiigs new hairdo. Shoot Chevy and put him out of his misery. Paul McCartney shouldn't be trying to hit alot of those notes anymore. Martin Short is still funny.

I taped it and was skipping tgrough the commercials. It was horrible. The show was best wjen it first came out but there have been many great skits over the years. The probably should have reduced tge show to an hour long ago. Not that they have an hour worth of material.
They could have done a much better job with last nights show. Sadly, Lorne Michaels continues to suck at his job.

It's been terrible for nearly 20 years. I don't get the hype. When you start getting in bed with the RIAA to push shitty "musicians" to the American public it's pretty clear you're a corporate schlup with no integrity whatsoever. It's all about that greenback baby.
And that reunion was absolutely horrendous. Aren't they in the business of live television? There were so many fuck ups with cameras, sets, people running in and out of scenes... WTF? You'd think after 40 years of being LIVE that they'd have had their shit together. Not the case. And don't get me started on the the audio, it was so bad that you could tell the studio laughter that they piped in was actually created in a music studio as compared to the people talking. That stupid Californians skit with that hack Taylor Shit summed it all up. They celebrated the shittiest cast of all time more than the legends. That's a damned shame. I was looking forward to some funny shit and I laughed once or twice but the overwhelming feeling was that is was a complete disaster.

I love the Beatles but that was the worst performance ever by Paul SRS, why isn't Ringo playing if he's gonna do it?! Instead he's got Juan Carlos Ortiz going fucking HAM on the drums over there... And really, Paul, it may be time to stop singing, or at the very least be very selective or get some top notch guest vocalists... His voice sounded like Grand Maester Pycelle. |

I saw most of it. AgreeThe Californians skit was way too long and stupid.Chevy Chase is aging badly. Martin short is aging remarkably well and is still very funny. Bill Murray can still bring it when he wants to.
The biggest surprise was Miley Cyrus. Who knew she was talented! her song was the highlight of the show for me, very nice voice. And I liked the drumming, that was cool. Kristen wig looks great!
I like the women of the new cast but none of the men stand out except the fat black one. That guy always cracks me up. The Wayne's world skit was funny. Eddie Murphy and Adam Sandler forgot how to be funny. Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi resurrecting the blues Brothers was just sad. I had to look away it was embarrassing.
