Poor Nick Folk, gets no respect, LOL First thing that jumped out for me as well. After that, it was Winters, our secondary and Coples. Geno was a given to be in the red, Winters I thought might be a smidge above that.

Aside from a very good D line, our defense is garbage from top to bottom. Idzik really screwed this team up, badly. Tanny and Rex need to split the blame with Idzik here, though. Rex likes to boast of his defensive prowess, and given he seemed to spend 95% of his time with the defence, you'd think that the Jets would have more than just Sheldon and Mo to show for their efforts (obviously Revis and Cromartie were great players when they were here, but they aren't). Tanny spent draft picks moving up and around the draft board but came away with very little to show for it.

Outside of Mangold and a declining Brick, our offensive line needs a serious makeover. We better spend some money and draft picks on the best guys available because it's a huge problem with this team. Probably the biggest problem outside of QB, of course.

Aside from maybe QB and TE (which I think is fine anyway) there's plenty of opportunities to fill out all of these weaknesses in FA and the draft, especially with our cap room. Would like to revisit this in a week or two..

Been saying this since Woody retired. It's deplorable that this is the main reason the Jets have been as bad as they have. Given a good line, Sanchez/Smith would have at least been serviceable.

Lol @ Mario Harvey. Who is that? Not sure how Amaro is below average, he had a pretty productive year for a rookie in the NFL's worst offense. Coples is only below average because Rex failed to realize that he's not an edge rusher, he needs to play inside on passing downs or stunt in from an end position. He uses his leverage really well on inside moves but he's not as effective outside. Bowles will get more out of him and I expect him to be a lot better this year. Poppycock. I was told on multiple occasions that he was a prototypical edge rusher. This, despite my claims that he lacked suddeness and had a build that was ill-suited for the role the Jets had him in. Coples sucks. A bust of a pick. Just face it. There are guys that have combine numbers but aren't good football players. The Jets always seem to draft the workout warriors and end up with egg on their face. I don't like the word "potential"... and the Jets draft guys with that attribute all the time. All that means is that someone has measurables that could make them great if they were any good at the sport they play. They don't show it on the field but if they ever got better at playing the game their skillset could really make them a player.... yeah, no thanks. Take all of that potential and take a hike. You are either putting it on tape or you aren't.
