Yesterday I wasn't so sure, today I want the Jets to sign him... You must be fun to shop for around birthday time! I look forward to finding out how you feel tomorrow.  I'm just a nervous wreck the Jets are going to end up with Fitzpatrick and I will have to give away my entire season next year  |

I've made it clear I won't see him the same if he comes back. However I accept it's a major coup and the highest upgrade at a need position if we get him. He has a choice, go into the HOF as a Jet or Pat, what's it goin to be Darelle? NFL players don't go into the Hall wearing any cap, but you can be damn sure that no matter what Revis does from here on out, he's going to be loved by Flats* fans. Who gives a flying fuck, he's played a year there. And since when does anyone pay any attention to what Flats* fans think? |

The truth IMO is somewhere in the middle. He had a head start being born with a silver spoon, good early private schooling, etc. Dad got cut off, as did Woody, by gramps. Woody did have success in the cable business, made more money. Gotta be fair there. I dont consider him self-made however, like Mark Cuban, who had a pretty average start and parlayed his taking chances into big bucks. THAT'S self made. Most team owners arent self made, lets be honest. I know of no success...you have a cite??? Arguably, he is a success with the JETS. They are worth a TON more now than when he bought them, but I won the Vanguard S and P 500. If owned since 2000, it has more than doubled in 10 years. maybe I can own the JETS?  |

Given the Jets' limited spending so far, I get the feeling that if we're getting Revis it's going to be for some absurdly high amount, maybe 17-18 mil per year for 3 years with almost all of it guaranteed.
