Garrett Grayson, Colorodo State, this kid just got his coach the Florida gig. The kid averages almost 10 yrds per completion. The kid has a strong arm, a 5:1 td to int ratio. Takes a lot of snaps from the shotgun, but has played under center, seems to have god balance and footwork. They will probably play a bowl game before Christmas, check the kid out. I hope to see him in the Senior bowl.

I've watched Grayson this year, and he and Brandon Bridge are probably the only two QBs I would take a run at in the mid to late rounds. The issue with Grayson is that he may not be as tall as he is listed (6'2") and from some accounts he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Arm talent is OK, but he is yet another one of these shotgun QBs that are hard to evaluate, although CSU is more balanced in terms of run/pass ratio.
On a side note, I wouldn't say that Grayson got McElwain the Florida gig, more likely McElwain has helped Grayson look as good as he does. McElwain is a really good coach and many people credit him for Grayson.

I wasn't particularly thrilled from what I saw out of Grayson.

I think Aaron Rogers is a stretch to be 6-2, never mind Brees and Wilson. Like I said he has worked under the center so it is not a foreign concept like Marriota. He moves well and can throw the ball on the run. If the jets can nab him in the 5th or 4th if harvin moves on I think it will be a great pick down the road.

I wasn't particularly thrilled from what I saw out of Grayson. What don't you like about him? and don't compare him to a top 25 type QB, he is not that, but a developmental guy not someone who will be starting next Sept.
