on this day in 1943 Former NY Jets DE Verlon Biggs was born in Moss Point, MS.

Verlon played for the Jets from 1965-1970 and was a big part of the Superbowl team...

He passed away in 1994 at age 51. Verlon is on the Far left in this picture. He was a fantastic player.
