A job any idiot can do, or a well paying job that requires some skill, where if you were fired from it, it would dent your lifestyle? The range in pay is huge....some make 30k others in the same position in my office make 50k+...and Managers make 75-100k or more...if your good and work hard, the job is gravy....sitting at a desk finding people and working terms with them to repay their debt...no two debtors are the same...and I've heard EVERY story in the book from doing this job 20+ years... I'd love to hear some of those excuses. My dog ate the bill.

I lost my job and told them....but then continued to charge the account ...knowing that you couldn't pay....
Another favorite are these fuckers that have filed Bankruptcy multiple times...and then get insulted that we are contacting them to pay a bill they opened just out of BK....

I still will never understand why some people are always fucking late... One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to managing... Flex time solves this problem. It's a nineteenth century innovation. I would think that it would be perfect for collection workers. BTW, I used to have to do some collection activities in conjunction with my company credit union. Worst fucking job ever as far as I am concerned.

Worst fucking job ever as far as I am concerned. Flex time would not work with respect to collections...in my 2 decades in this business most collectors are lazy...and wouldn't even get 25 hrs in... Turnover is always over 100%...in a company of 200 people there is always the core 50 or so folks, with the rest a revolving door.... Its performanced based, and most don't perform.....
