Good spring Jets fans...
On this day in 2014 the Jets released QB Mark Sanchez.
We all know Marks history..a lot of ups and downs with the Jets.....almost the highest of highs and certainly the lowest of lows...

March 21, 2006: The Jets send John Abraham to the Falcons in exchange for their first round pick -- 29th overall. The jets used the pick to select Nick Mangold. So there has been some good to come to the Jets on March 21.

Had this day pretty well covered last year. Sanchez release, Tebow signing and Abe traded. A lot of news for one day.

sanchez was just so hard to gage. he probably didn't deserve to be the 5 pick and the jets reached up too far to get him. he had some talent and some really good games but he just isn't the type of player who can play steady game in game out. it's kind of the same way with genot.. as for tebow, why? abraham? he was certainly an excellent player when he played but he also pulled himself out at the most inopportune times. we should all be glad they turned him into mangold.
