If you got something better for g bread, then please do share with the class. I love me some bread n wine. Cut off the top of a head of garlic, drench in olive oil, wrap in foil and roast for about 45 minutes at 425*. Split the bread. Melt some butter and brush it onto the bread, sprinkle liberally with shredded parmesan (don't you dare get it from a can) and throw it under the broiler for a few minutes just to crisp it up. When the garlic is done, you can squeeze out individual cloves directly onto the bread - it spreads like butter. All done. First off LOL at Big L calling out Cro's Kids Garlic Bread. Second, is anyone else getting the feeling that JCTs a stay at home dad and his wife is the bread winner? lol That would be nice. And actually not that far from the truth if a project my wife is working on pans out. But no, she's a stay at home mom. Hey, remember back in October/November you started a really whiny thread about something insignificant compared to what others here had going on and you were dealt a heavy reality check? I chimed in with what I had going on. Well, it's still going on. So lets pump the brakes a tad. I'll pump the brakes only because I like you. I'll send you good vibes.

Made a pasta dish which the kids hated, but the wife and I loved. Orechiette, sweet sausage and broccoli rabe cooked in chicken stock (homemade - I don't fuck around) with garlic, lemon juice a little salt, pepper and cayenne. Topped it with some freshly shredded parmesan and fresh mozzarella pearls. Paired with a fruity (rather than oaky, which I'd prefer) chardonnay and some homemade garlic bread (again, I don't fuck around) and it was fucking awesome. PM me if you want the garlic bread recipe. It's a game changer and while a little time consuming, it's so easy and worth the wait. Also, I'm 0% Italian (thank God, teeheehee), but have amazed my guinea friend's mothers with my cooking. my kids don't eat anything, I don't know how they are even growing.
