That Salted Bacon and Grease Sandwich is just disturbing. Terrifying! I just had a coronary looking at it.

And reused the styrofoam containers they sell raw chicken in with the maxi pads?? I guess I should of watched more of the video then the first 2 minutes. Grandma died in 83, and I do not recollect the popularity of styrofoam with maxi pad things back then. But Grandma saved and reused everything, tin foil, plastic wrap, plastic forks and spoons, said using more then three sheets of TP was wasteful, was a product of being poor and having so little for so long. I use to get frustrated at Xmas and on her birthday cause she would take so long to open her presents, she was very careful unwrapping and folding the paper and would save the ribbons and bows along with the paper and then reuse them later. She had a huge garden, and goose berry bushes, a root cellar that she stored all her can goods in, can goods as in mason jars that she canned in, was uber religious. Helped deliver over 30 babies. They had a farm in Arkansas that blew away in the dust bowl (my father was born in the barn there) so they moved the 9 kids west to pick fruit and be farm laborers in Californy in the mid 30's. She would feed any one who asked, always had food on the dinning table and then would cover it with a sheet when no one was eating. My Mom used to get pissed because every time we went to Grandmas I would peek under the sheet to see what she had for pie or cookies and of course Grandma would say were growing boys and are starved then would feed us, even though Mom made a point of feeding us before we went over. LOL, I miss that women, she was a true role model. Sorry to go off topic, but great thread, brought back some good old memories.

I am willing to bet granny was not nearly as haphazard and unsanitary as this. lol. Just look for the kitchen sink chicken wings... I thought I made a thread here, but must have been at the hampur of old.
