That Salted Bacon and Grease Sandwich is just disturbing. You haven't live in the south long enough if you haven't figured out that grease is considered a condiment. It took me sixteen years before I found out. Somebody told me his grandmother made bacon grease salad. Yeah, it's exactly what it sounds like. You prepare a salad of iceberg lettuce and then pour hot bacon grease over it as a dressing. The hot grease makes the lettuce wilt and slimy and then you eat it. And if you don't believe me just google it and see how many recipes pop up. |
