On this day in 1952 Former Jets QB Steve Joachim was born in Philadelphia, PA.
He played College ball at Temple and Penn State.
He played one game 1976.

I followed Joe Willie to L.A. and was rooting for the Rams. I will say this however,
Never, never, NEVER, did I stop supporting the the Famous New York Jets as my favorite
team.

Also, on March 27, in 2014, Mark Sanchez became an Eagle. Sanchez was due over $11MM from the Jets for the 2014 season, but after the team signed Michael Vick earlier in the offseason, they released Sanchez to free up cap space. Mark signed a 1-year deal with the Eagles on this date, 3/27/14, that was worth $2.25 MM.  |
